Travelers along Trashigang-Mongar highway can take a respite at Dekey-Gatshel recreational area recently opened at Chazam. It is an ideal place for travelers to catch a breath after a long tiring journey. It is also an ideal place for family to have a breather in a weekend.Dekey-Gatshel recreational area has one gazebo with the surrounding area developed into beautiful landscape. The green soft lawn grasses carpets the area. It also provides other basic recreational facilities for the visitors and travelers.
Constructed with financial support from Vanishing Treasure (VT) project of UNEP, the project is lead by Bhutan Tiger Centre(BTC) and is being implemented by Divisional Forest Office, Trashigang.
